This DMCA / Intellectual Property Policy outlines the procedures for addressing claims of copyright infringement and other intellectual property (IP) violations on RippleBids.com (the "Platform"). RippleBids respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512) and other applicable laws. This policy applies to all users, including buyers and sellers, and is incorporated into our Terms of Service, Seller Policy, and Buyer Policy.
If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our Designated Agent. RippleBids will review and process valid notices promptly in accordance with the DMCA.

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, RippleBids will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
We will notify the user who posted the content (if identifiable) and provide them with an opportunity to submit a counter-notice (see Section 3).
If you believe your content was removed or disabled in error due to a DMCA takedown notice, you may submit a counter-notice to our Designated Agent.
A counter-notice must include the following in writing:
A description of the material that was removed or disabled and its location on the Platform before removal.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or Franklin County, Ohio, if you are outside the U.S.) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the takedown notice or their agent.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, RippleBids will forward it to the original complainant.
If the complainant does not file a court action seeking an injunction within 10 business days of receiving the counter-notice, RippleBids may, at its discretion, restore the removed content or re-enable access, provided no other violations exist.
For claims involving other intellectual property rights (e.g., trademark, patent, or trade secret violations), please contact our Designated Agent with:
A detailed description of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Platform.
Evidence of your ownership of the intellectual property right.
Your contact information and a statement of good faith.
RippleBids will review and address such claims in accordance with applicable laws and our Terms of Service.
RippleBids reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright or other intellectual property rights, in accordance with the DMCA and our Terms of Service. This may include users who repeatedly post infringing content or fail to resolve valid IP complaints.
This policy complies with:
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) to ensure RippleBids qualifies for DMCA safe harbor protections.
Ohio's consumer protection laws (Ohio Rev. Code § 1345), which require fair and transparent practices in handling user disputes.

Users are responsible for ensuring their content complies with all applicable intellectual property laws before posting on the Platform.
We may update this DMCA / Intellectual Property Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform, email, or other reasonable means, with at least thirty (30) days' notice before taking effect. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
